DANNY GOLD PRODUCER/DIRECTOR/WRITER BIOGRAPHY
Danny began his career as an entertainment attorney specializing in all aspects of production. In 1998, he left the practice of law to devote his full efforts to producing, writing and directing. In the following four years, he produced three independent features and two studio films, “18 Shades of Dust”, starring Danny Aiello and William Forsythe. (Flashpoint Pictures), “Love and Action In Chicago” which starred Courtney B. Vance, Jason Alexander, Kathleen Turner, Regina King and Edward Asner.  The film was an official selection to the 1999 Toronto Film Festival. (Flashpoint Pictures), “Wish You Were Dead” starring Cary Elwes, Elaine Hendrix, Christopher Lloyd, Mary Steenburgen, Gene Simmons and Robert Englund. (Icon Productions/Newmarket Capitol). Danny was directly responsible for discovering, developing and setting up MGM’s AGENT CODY BANKS franchise and served as Executive Producer on “Agent Cody Banks”  Starring Frankie Muniz and Hillary Duff (MGM) as well as the sequel “Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London” Starring Muniz and Anthony Anderson. Danny’s desire to expand creatively as a writer, director and producer led to his formation of Mod Three Productions (M3P). With Mod 3 Productions, Danny has created, written and/or produced television shows major networks including The History Channel, MTV and ABC Family. Danny has also produced projects Warner Bros., Twentieth Century Fox, Disney and Dreamworks and The Weinstein Company.

In 2010, Danny co-directed, co-wrote and produced the Award winning documentary, “100 Voices: A Journey Home”. The film enjoyed a successful theatrical run, was a official selection to numerous International Film Festivals and now is beginning its television run with its premier on KCET.
